This page is about my personal portrait photography. The assignment was to take 50 photos, but they all had to have humanity in them somehow. So, from the 50 pictures I took I had to decide my top 10, and the sllideshow below shows my personal best.
The pictures below this are the other 40 pictures from my 50 that weren;t as good, nor were some good at all. But they're just shots without deleting any and experimenting with new. I will tell you right now some just are simply not photography in my opinion.
REFLECTION 10-C
1.) On my portrait photography I think I did strong work on being able to focus on certain things and picking out what was good and what was bad.
2.) I think I could have done a better job taking pictures out of school rather than most in school.
3.) My areas of emphasis on my photography was more of focosing on certain things than having the background unfocused because it made it look better and more neat.
4.) The type of balanced I used was in between Asymmetrical and Bilateral because I was trying to get "different" pictures from more angles.
5.) I conclude that photography is exciting but yet again difficult because not all photos turn out the way you want them to.
6.) What I learn from this project was you CAN express yourself through taking pictures because sometimes what you take pictures of can reflect on who you are.
7.) The meaning of photography is to be able to take photos from different points of view and bring your personal opinion into it. Along with that, To create photos of your own it does take some skill.
8.) Overall, I thought it was a good project because it taught you about photography and its like a "pre" photography class where you could see if you were reall interested or not. Also, in the future I think Purdy should allow some of the photos to be momre of nature and whatnot.
