Thematic Painting.
In my thematic painting, I chose to do the theme fruit. I chose fruit because I had this great idea of doing a lot of detail in a fruit and form it all into one. My balance in my paintings are asymmetrical, my color is pretty much the rainbow, because their are four different paintings that involve two dark colors and two lighter more happier colors.
Above is my series of my thematic paintings. The fruits that are involved are a blueberry, a banana, a kiwi, and a grapefruit.
Once again, when I am set to do preliminary drawings for things I never plan it out I just jump into it and play in by ear.
REFLECTION.
1. The strong parts of my painting is probabkky the detail because I spent the most time of that part.
2. I coud have done better on the choice of fruit for my third one because a banana doesn't have much detail.
3. My theme is fruit because I liked doing the detial to make it pop.
4. The little things I did was light strokes of shades of colors that weren't actually in the painting to make it for interesting and better.
5. The point of emphasis on my painting is the object in general because right away looking at it you can see the fruit than when you look closer you can see all of the small details.
6. I learned that when we have freedom to do what we want you get so many other idea that you want to do them all and when you have an awesome teacher like Mr. Purdy you have the oppourtunity to do more.
7. I did it the way I did because I wanted to do something good and above and beyond to feel good about myself.
8. YES, I happen to think that this project should continue each year because its an oppourtunity to pain, but think that Mr. Purdy should offer a little more help and be more stern when we asked for his opinions.
