Kite Kite Kites.
This semester we're starting out with something new and fun. What we're starting if you haven't aleady guessed is we are making kites. Obviously we aren't going to make the huge and awesome shark, scuba, fish, box, ship, or chinese fish kites but I felt like I should show the variety of kites that are out there. Kites originated in China about 2000 years ago. Since that time, we have been building off of one anothers ideas and keep working towards bigger and better kites. As you can see from the pictures below their are numerous amounts of different kinds of kites in the world. Some are meant to be just in the air floating, but others have great meaning and are supposed to do great things. The ones that have purpose could be stunt kites, where they do flips and turns or they could be like box kites and meant to do other cool things. All-in-all, kites have very many different purposes and hopefully will keep growing throughout the world in the future.
